Steps to Apply for SSC CGL 2022 Examination
The steps to do so are as follows:

- Here candidates will come across the link to register online for SSC CGL 2022 examination.
- Click on the ‘Register Now/New User’ link to proceed with the registration.
- There are usual fields that require standard personal information. These are email id, name, and date of birth, mobile number, parent’s name, and other details.
- After all, fields are filled you need to click on the submit button. This will render your registration process complete. Of course, you will also have the option to log in later and make any corrections required.
- After the form is submitted all candidates are issued a registration ID. With this, they need to proceed to the next step.
- The next step includes creating an account for the exam. This requires all candidates to enter their registration ID detail, password, and date of birth.
- The registration process is deemed complete only when photographs and signatures are uploaded. These need to be done as per specifications issued by the commission.
Uploading Photo and Signature
When it comes to uploading your photo, you need to do so with certain specifications. Candidates need to click their photo in front of light-colored or white color background. The photograph’s size should be within 4 kb to 12 kb. The resolution of the photo must be about 100×120 pixels as well.
There are also specifications regarding uploading the signature of the candidate. It must be done with blue or black ink on a white sheet. The signature should then be scanned and submitted in jpg format. This image too should not exceed 12 KB in size but should be at least 1 KB. Finally, the resolution of the image should be about 40×60 pixels.
To complete the last step of registration candidates need to log in with their registered ID and key in their password. After that, they should complete Part II of the application process. This requires uploading a photo and signature as well as checking all other details. Once the form is submitted after step 2 it is final and no further edits can be made.
