The verification window for Class 12 marks will be open from May 17 to May 21, while for Class 10, it will run from May 20 to May 24. A fee of Rs 500 per subject is required for availing these facilities.
If students remain dissatisfied with their CBSE results for 2024, they have the option to utilize the resources provided by the board, including specified timelines, procedures, and associated fees.

- Each evaluator was assigned a maximum of 20 answer books within an 8-hour timeframe.
- Multiple checks were enforced to guarantee evaluation accuracy.
- Standard Operating Procedures were adhered to for result preparation.
2. Obtaining (Scanned) Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book:
- CBSE offers facilities for verification of marks, obtaining photocopies of evaluated answer books, and re-evaluation of answers.
- Students are encouraged to carefully review the guidelines before applying to avoid any inconvenience later.
3. Re-evaluation of Answers:
- Students dissatisfied with their evaluation or results have the option to request re-evaluation of their answers.
- CBSE has established procedures to address any discrepancies and ensure fairness in the evaluation process.
- Detailed guidelines are provided to students utilizing these facilities to ensure smooth processing of their requests.
Application for Obtaining a Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book:
a. Eligibility: Only candidates who have applied for verification of Marks Online are eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book(s).
b. Processing Charges: Processing charges are Rs. 700/- per subject for Class XII. Refer to Annexure-1 for the schedule.
c. Application Guidelines: Any application submitted on behalf of the candidate or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
d. Document Provision: Applicants will receive a scanned copy of the Answer Book in their login account with all identifying information of the Examiner/Evaluator blocked.
e) Challenge Option: Candidates desiring to challenge the marks awarded to any answers must apply online for re-evaluation of answers as per the schedule.
Re-evaluation of Evaluated Answer Book:
a. Eligibility: Only candidates who have applied online for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book are eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any answer(s).
b. Request Procedure: Requests for re-evaluation / challenges will be accepted for the theory portion only, at Rs. 100/- per question.
c. Application Process:
- Candidates must refer to the marking scheme available on the website along with the question paper.
- Submit an application for revaluation in the required question with clear and proper reasoning.
d. Result Communication: The status of revaluation will be uploaded on the website, followed by a formal communication from the Regional Office.
e. Impact of Change: Even a decrease of one mark will be implemented in the final result.
f. Finality of Result: The result of the re-evaluation will be final, and no appeal or review against the re-evaluation will be entertained.
Re-evaluation of Evaluated Answer Book:
- Only candidates who have applied for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book are eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question.
- Requests for re-evaluation/challenges are accepted only for the theory portion, with a fee of Rs. 100/- per question.
