Animals Class 10 Notes

This poem tells us about animals. The poet wants to become an animal. He wants to live among the animals as they are more contented than people. Neither are they bothered by the feelings of guilt. The animals do not turn materialistic. They never gather things as human beings do. They are all equal. None of them has to bow before the others to show respect. They don’t need to show respect for their forefathers. The poet finds an analogy between his views and the behavior of animals. The animals have the same qualities as the poet. The poet is surprised how these animals have those qualities. He tries to remember if he had passed that way and dropped them there.
